Based in Soweto, Kayole (one of Nairobi’s informal settlements), Imani Children’s Home provides a loving family environment. The Home strives to help children understand that a background of poverty, vulnerability, abandonment and being orphaned is not their identity.

The staff work extremely hard to maintain a homely environment for the children, ensuring their wellbeing, development, education and rehabilitation, as well as looking for prospective adoptive parents.

Imani Children’s Home cares for children of all ages; the abandoned babies can be as young as just a few days old.

There are many aspects of running the Home where your help is needed, with the milk formula for the babies topping the list as it is very expensive in Kenya.
